When you buy a The Wildhearts album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This is the first studio album from The Wildhearts since bad diagnosis in 2004. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of The Wildhearts energies, virtually a rebirth. Exciting stuff.
It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Nurse Maximum, which shows, blatantly, how much The Wildhearts has evolved as a singer. Anthem the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Urge presents the marvelous mix of instruments on Endless, Nameless. The Wildhearts sings his heart out in Pissjoy. I’ve found myself listening to Soundog Babylon back to back and back many times. Now Is The Colour - My least favorite song on this album. Heroin - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Song Why You Lie is actually a funny song. The song Thunderfuck ending is my favorite… so catchy! Fugazi (Do The Fake) (3:42) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Endless, Nameless. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Some of the arrangements found on Endless, Nameless are surprisingly edgy. Time To Let You Go is just simply stunning. White Lies is beautiful, yet underrated track. The Song Formally Known As? makes a person feel marvelous.
