Self-described as Rock with lots of words, The Wildhearts comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of The Wildhearts energies, virtually a rebirth. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by The Wildhearts. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Greeting From Shitsville is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. I came to like Sick Of Drugs. I Wanna Go Where The People Go gives taste of what makes The Wildhearts special as a musician. The Wildhearts sings Stormy In The North Karma In The South in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Tv Tan is one of the best records ever. Geordie in Wonderland couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Nothing Ever Changes But The Shoes. Everyone is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Geordie In Wonderland is probably the most interesting track on Geordie in Wonderland. All of songs on Geordie in Wonderland and have something to say letting alone Caffeine Bomb. Vanilla Radio has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets The Wildhearts’s strong vocals come to the fore. The Wildhearts offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. My Baby Is A Headfuck - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Love You Til I Don’t is marvelous song though, very addictive. 29 X The Pain is really the reason why I recommend buying Geordie in Wonderland.
