Lead single “Backyard Betty” and “What It Look Like” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Spank Rock energies, virtually a rebirth. Jim Jones has compared writing for Spank Rock’s new album to that on ‘YoYoYoYoYo’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Great Rap: Hip-Hop right here!
What It Look Like is one of the coolest songs Spank Rock has ever recorded. Such hits like IMC will leave you hooked. The opening track Rick Ruben is very much like you would expect from other albums. Touch Me actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Spank Rock’s face. Bump is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Album opener Sweet Talk is a bright, upbeat ditty. Chilly Will - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. If you are a Spank Rock fan, you will love Top Billin’ From Far Left. Coke & Wet is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Spank Rock ever produced. This is one hell of a track. Screwville, U.S.A. one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard.
