Devin Dazzle and The Neon Fever isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Felix da Housecat energies, virtually a rebirth. This sixteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Felix da Housecat has. Felix da Housecat is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Rocket Ride is cool work of Felix da Housecat. What She Wants is the most memorable and cool. You can find feelings on this piece of art. I like to sing along with Ready 2 Wear, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Romantique is the amazing blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Felix da Housecat. This track is clearly meant to showcase Felix da Housecat’s vocal abilities. Let Your Mind Be Your Bed is really a nice song to relax and listen too. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Watching Cars Go By because the melody in the chorus is so good. Hunting Season as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. I came to like Nina. Devin Dazzle is the funkiest number on the album. Neon Human is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day.
