There were many famous songs of Vladimir Cosma available. Self-described as Soundtrack with lots of words, Vladimir Cosma comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Since Vladimir Cosma last CD (Albert Est Mechant) on SixSteps records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. This album is a scorcher!
I was truly moved when I heard Got No Cash (Vocal Paul Breslin). This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Albert Est Mechant. I can’t stop humming along Les Gitans (Slonovski Bal). Vocals of Vladimir Cosma in Pat Et Albert really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. This is probably my favorite song on the album. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Vladimir Cosma. Albert Compose (Christian Toucas) (3:10) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! This is one hell of a track. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Livin’ Together (Vocal Chantal Curtis) has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Vladimir Cosma breathes new life into the music in Andantino. I like to sing along with Evocation De Jo Lechat, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Nice and different song. Au Golf En Mobylette is the albums biggest surprise. Barbara Chelsea And Co make listening to Vladimir Cosma like being in some sort of time warp. Song Deception De Barbara is actually a funny song. L’ Amicale De La Truffe is a bit of a show-tune.
