After seeing Counting…, I had to have a good Durutti Column cd. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Durutti Column’s album Tempus Fugit falls to No. 2 with 173,000, a sales slide of 66%. This disc has all of the essential Durutti Column classics. To me Durutti Column is the best band ever.
Once you hear Shooting, you will listen to it over and over. I like the idea behind Lullaby 4 Nina. Overall a nice softer song. Guitar-Woman is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Violence is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Love Song On Quattro is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Tempus Fugit. Tempus Fugit is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. The Man Who Knows - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Slipping Away is a song to enjoy for years to come. Music of Trip For An Opera is gentle, never overbearing. What sets Untitled For You apart is Durutti Column’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Salford Harmonics is a fine track on any terms.
