Self-described as Metal with lots of words, E-Town Concrete comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. It has been five years E-Town Concrete’ last studio CD, “Made for War” which won Array Academy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. I am not a real Metal music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Made for War’ really is amazing. Smart music for smart people.
I have all of E-Town Concrete’s tracks and Ploughshares and Swords is probably the most his introspective effort. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Distance is a strong cut, one of many. Do You Know What It’s Like? one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. This track is clearly meant to showcase E-Town Concrete’s vocal abilities. I believe Setup is one of the most excellent, heartfelt songs ever written. I like the agression and power of What Can I Do?. Made For War is a medium tempo tune. All That You Have Is Still Not Enough - This one is lively and fun. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing.
