Don’t judge Maiden Of Steel on the first listening. The Chosen make listening to Thy Majestie like being in some sort of time warp. One listen to the sheer beauty of Ride To Chinon was all I needed. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Jeanne D’Arc. Up To The Battle is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. March Of The Brave is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. The Rise Of A King is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. Music of Siege Of Paris is gentle, never overbearing. Time To Die is one of my favorite songs by Thy Majestie. What sets Inqusition apart is Thy Majestie’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. The Trial is a marvelous, simple song by Thy Majestie at the top of his game.
