This album has some very good songs like Sun In My Morning and Milk Bottle Symphony. IF YOU LIKE ALL Saint Etienne’S SONG GO FOR IT! I am not a real Rock: Pop-Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Tales From Turnpike House (CD 1)’ really is amazing. Unappreciated gift to Rock: Pop-Rock
Milk Bottle Symphony is just simply stunning. Lightning Strikes Twice is probably the most interesting track on Tales From Turnpike House (CD 1). Slow Down At The Castle is a very catchy tune. A Good Thing is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Side Streets is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. After few listenings I started to like Last Order For Gary Stead more and more. Stars Above Us gets you up and jumping. Relocate is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. The Birdman Of EC1 catches attention immediately, No Saint Etienne song has come close to capturing my attention as Teenage Winter did. Overall a nice softer song.
