It has been three years Mirzadeh’ last studio CD, “The Creatures Of Loviatar” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This album has some very good songs like Whispers From Filthy Womb and Precious Death. Mirzadeh’s debut, ‘The Creatures Of Loviatar’, does not fit easily into one genre. The Creatures Of Loviatar touched my soul like nothing else.
Precious Death is perfect. Viper Of The Frozen Ground is a exquisite song and it grows on you. Witness Of Moonlight Mystery is Mirzadeh’s best work in years. I listened to the opening track Louhi’s Legacy and liked it a lot. Fullmoon Dream is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Tuonelan Lasten Tanssi is one of the best records ever. Melancholy is the more seemingly obscure song on The Creatures Of Loviatar that bear up best to repeated listening. Kalmisto is nothing but pure genius.
