While no new Michael Hoppe album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2006 tour in Africa. Since Michael Hoppe last CD (Requiem) on Virgin Records back in 2006, I have felt a massive void in my life. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Michael Hoppe. If you love Michael Hoppe as much as I do, then Michael Hoppe Requiem is the CD for you!
This is one hell of a track. In paradisium is almost impossible to review. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Lux Aeterna, which shows, blatantly, how much Michael Hoppe has evolved as a singer. Michael Hoppe sings his heart out in Agnus Dei. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Sanctus is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Introit is worth the money.
