When you buy a Leaether Strip album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This album has some very good songs like 12. Inner exploration and 11. What if.. Leaether Strip was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Leaether Strip and After The Devastation CD 1 together. One of Leaether Strip’s best albums yet.
I believe 11. What if. is one of the most marvelous, heartfelt songs ever written. Get After The Devastation CD 1 and turn on 10. Rip like cat claws if you are going to sip your wine late at night. A fantastic track full of wonder. 07. Slam is a great opener for After The Devastation CD 1. 08. Smerte is a bit different from Leaether Strip stereotypical stuff. The first time I listened to 06. Sleep is only heartbreak I was struck by its cool sound. 04. A boy is such a amazing and optimistic song that things can get just better. 05. Dying is easy - life is harder (daddy please love me) is absolutely incredible. I loved 03. Death is walking next to me (album edit) the first time I heard it. 02. Back in control the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Vocals of Leaether Strip in 01. The shame of a nation (album edit) really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm.
