In Delilah Kenny Burrell is at his best. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. I think Phinupi is the best song Kenny Burrell has ever done. Love Your Spell Is Everywhere is a bit different from Kenny Burrell stereotypical stuff. What sets Scotch Blues apart is Kenny Burrell’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. I hope to keep hearing Kenny Burrell works for a long time to come. A unique and uplifting song. Chitlins Con Carne motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Midnight Blue is just simply stunning. Song These Foolish Things is actually a funny song. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Hackensack from the beginning to the end. Freedom is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through The Artist Selects.
