Since completing 2004’s ‘Plastic Heart’, Jens Buchert fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. On the Hungary charts, superstar Jens Buchert’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. IF YOU LIKE ALL Jens Buchert’S SONG GO FOR IT! Exciting stuff.
Tryptichon is so unique, as each one of the songs is. The sound of Body Of Venus is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Album opener Wendy is a bright, upbeat ditty. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Amberland Time Beyond Jebu is Crypton. Golem is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Obelisk is the albums biggest surprise. Music and lyrics of Resobar creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Charming song, great melody. Jade is the song that really did it for me. Taximan is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Some call Granulat from Amberland Time Beyond Jebu as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen.
