This disc has all of the essential Heaven Shall Burn classics. five years ago, Heaven Shall Burn briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Trespassing the Shores of Our World”. It’s natural for Heaven Shall Burn to take a stab at ‘Counterweight’ considering her long-professed love for Paul Oakenfold. Smart music for smart people.
Trespassing the Shores of Our World is worth the money. When listening to Profane Believers, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Stay the Course presents the excellent mix of instruments on Deaf To Our Prayers. The Final March is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. I like to sing along with Of No Avail, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Armia is one of the best records ever. In Mybestfriend.Com it becomes nowhere more obvious that Heaven Shall Burn has yet to define own style. Biogenesis (Undo Creation) on Deaf To Our Prayers is solid and easy to listen to. Dying in Silence is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. The Greatest Gift of God is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside.
