Now signed to Chatmonchy’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Miminari” leads Chatmonchy’s back-to-school campaign. There is no doubt that Chatmonchy has talent. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Chatmonchy. Miminari touched my soul like nothing else.
Sayonara Good Bye has a fun tempo. Weekend No Maboroshi is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Hana No Yum - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Donaru Denwa Doshaburi is Chatmonchy’s best work in years. Ittousei ni Narenakatta Kimihe (3:03) a good melody. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Otogi no Kuni no Kimi. Koi no Kemuri is cool work of Chatmonchy. Renai Spirits which is my favorite is a truly Chatmonchy sounding song. Owarimaki BGM is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Plasma without a doubt is the standout song of Miminari. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Hitori Dake is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot.
