It has been eight years Bloody Sunday’ last studio CD, “To Sentence the Dead” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Now signed to Bloody Sunday’s Capitol Records, the title track from second album “To Sentence the Dead” leads Bloody Sunday’s back-to-school campaign. On To Sentence the Dead album, Bloody Sunday have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. To Sentence the Dead is the best essence of Bloody Sunday.
Best Of Me is the funkiest number on the album. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in To Sentence the Dead. Old Friends And Dead Ends - I just love it. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. False Ideas Of Perfection the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. I came to like I For I. Some of the arrangements found on To Sentence the Dead are surprisingly edgy. This song may be the most meaningful. I like Abject Paradise because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming.
