A Stone Alone: The Solo Anthology 1974-2001 Disc 2 isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. four years ago, Bill Wyman briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Lead Me to the Water [Live]”. IF YOU LIKE ALL Bill Wyman’S SONG GO FOR IT! I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Bill Wyman ever.
Lead Me to the Water [Live] defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Some of the arrangements found on A Stone Alone: The Solo Anthology 1974-2001 Disc 2 are surprisingly edgy. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in A Stone Alone: The Solo Anthology 1974-2001 Disc 2. Rockin’ Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu [Live] - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Bill Wyman. Let the Good Times Roll [Live] is simple, dignified and effective, Bill Wyman refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Land of a Thousand Dances [Live] as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. I now have Tear It Up [Live] as one of my personal favorites. I listened to the opening track Mystery Train [Live] and liked it a lot. Let’s Talk It Over is a exquisite song and it grows on you. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is You Never Can Tell because the melody in the chorus is so good. Such hits like Baby Please Don’t Go will leave you hooked. Jump Jive an’ Wail [Live] is possibly the best song Bill Wyman has come up. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Stop Her on Sight (SOS) [Live] is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Bill Wyman ever produced. Once you hear Melody [Live], you will listen to it over and over. Jitterbug Boogie [Live] is another favourite of mine. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Chicken Shack Boogie is perfect. After few listenings I started to like I’ll Be Satisfied [Live] more and more.
