I am not a real Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘A Stone Alone: The Solo Anthology 1974-2001 Disc 1′ really is amazing. After seeing A New Fashion, I had to have a good Bill Wyman cd. There were many famous songs of Bill Wyman available. This is my first Bill Wyman Album and i must say i am blown away.
Ride on Baby is one of the coolest songs Bill Wyman has ever recorded. A unique and uplifting song. If You Wanna Be Happy have really caught my ear and imagination. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Only one song from A Stone Alone: The Solo Anthology 1974-2001 Disc 1 named Soul Satisfying really got me. A Quarter to Three is just simply stunning. I’ve found myself listening to It’s a Wonder back to back and back many times. I’ll Pull You Through is astounding work of Bill Wyman. White Lightnin’ is nothing but pure genius. The opening track What a Blow is very much like you would expect from other albums. What sets Monkey Grip Glue apart is Bill Wyman’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. I Wanna Get Me a Gun is almost impossible to review. The first time I listened to Blue Murder (Lies) I was struck by its gorgeous sound. This Strange Effect is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Best song on the album, love it. Girls - a classic song. (Si, Si) Je Suis un Rock Star still maintains something of a specific flourish. The sound of Come Back Suzanne is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. I believe Nuclear Reactions is one of the most cool, heartfelt songs ever written.
