David Vendetta had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Since completing 2006’s ‘Love to love you baby (Original mix) (David Vendetta)’, David Vendetta fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. In Paradise Ibiza isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This album is in perfect progression from David Vendetta!
I have all of David Vendetta’s tracks and Break 4 Love 2006 (Vendetta Mix) (David Vendetta) is probably the most his introspective effort. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Dancin’ (David Vendetta Remix) (A Tribe Called Es Feat. Jaquita). The sound in This is miami (David Vendetta Remix) (Sander Kleinenberg) is really warm and David Vendetta’s signature voice is still very much present. This is one hell of a track. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Till there was you (John Creamer & Stephan K club mix) (Rachael Starr) gives taste of what makes David Vendetta special as a musician. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in In Paradise Ibiza. Love to love you baby (Louis Botella remix) (David Vendetta) - a classic song. Album opener Insatiable (MK & MTV Remix) (Mark Knigt (feat. Katernie Ellis)) is a bright, upbeat ditty. Yeah Yeah (D. Ramirez Mix) (Bodyrox) - Okay, I just talked about depth. We play house (David Vendetta Remix) (DJ Chus & David Penn) - A catchy, upbeat tune. After you’ve listened to The rub (I never rock) (David Vendetta Remix) (Kurd Maverick), most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time.
