This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Kenny Rogers. Kenny Rogers was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Kenny Rogers and The Hit Collection together. Since Kenny Rogers last CD (The Hit Collection) on Capitol Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Something’s Burning has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Kenny Rogers’s strong vocals come to the fore. What Am I Gonna Do is pretty funky and mellow. Kenny Rogers rocks harder than ever with If Wishes Were Horses. Shine On Ruby Mountain catches attention immediately, I can’t stop humming along For The Good Times. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Kenny Rogers. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Sunshine. I hope to keep hearing Kenny Rogers works for a long time to come. The Hit Collection couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Where Does Rosie Go. Tell It All Brother makes a person feel astounding. I like the idea behind Always Leaving, Always Gone. In Loser the music gets its power. Tulsa Turnaround good vocals. Music of Me and Bobby Mcgee is gentle, never overbearing. Within the first few notes of All God’s Lonely Children it’s perfectly clear that Kenny Rogers is living this song. I like Once Again She’s All Alone because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming.
