There is no doubt that All Angels has talent. It has been eight years All Angels’ last studio CD, “All Angels” which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. On the Turkey charts, superstar All Angels’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Smart music for smart people.
In Lakme/The Flower Duet the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Salve Regina [based On Pachelbel’s Canon] is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track All Angels ever produced. Steal Away is the funkiest number on the album. Windmills of Your Mind motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Barcarolle [from The Tales Of Hoffman] is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything All Angels released so far. Silent Night have really caught my ear and imagination. All Angels emotions are reflected through Sancta Maria [intermezzo From Cavelleria Rusticana]. Ave Verum Corpus [theme From Brideshead Revisited] had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Angels is a strong cut, one of many. Ave Marie as a highlight of All Angels contains a ton of astounding melodies. Album opener Pokarekare Ana is a bright, upbeat ditty. Nice and different song.
