Sentimental carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. While no new Tanita Tikaram album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2005 tour in North America. After seeing Something New, I had to have a good Tanita Tikaram cd. Sentimental is not something you should pass up.
Play Me Again as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Still going through Sentimental and coming to appreciate My Love more and more with every listen. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Everyday Is New is one of the coolest songs Tanita Tikaram has ever recorded. Love Is Just A Word - This is a very lively song. Don’t Let The Cold - My least favorite song on this album. After you’ve listened to Forever, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Got To Give You Up is simply marvelous. Blew our minds when we first heard Heart In Winter.
