IF YOU LIKE ALL Ion’S SONG GO FOR IT! Since completing 2005’s ‘Stage’, Ion fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. This ten-song debut EP shows the promise that Ion has. This is my first Ion Album and i must say i am blown away.
The Muse Of Disaster is the more seemingly obscure song on Ionized that bear up best to repeated listening. Flame Up great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Home Boy marked the continuation of Ion in style evolution. Reality has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. This is probably my favorite song on the album. In Kimono the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Fingerz - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Don’t judge Stamina on the first listening.
