IF YOU LIKE ALL Deadstar Assembly’S SONG GO FOR IT! While no new Deadstar Assembly album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2006 tour in Australia. Lead single “Deep Breath” and “Hot to Destroy an Angel” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Deadstar Assembly touched my soul like nothing else.
Hot to Destroy an Angel is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Therapy Scares Me is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Comes to Tongue is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Breathe for You is the albums biggest surprise. Normal - A classic Deadstar Assembly track. Send Me an Angel is cool song though, very addictive. In Just Like You you won’t find any flashy solos. Undone is a song to enjoy for years to come. Blurred and Muted presents the cool mix of instruments on Deadstar Assembly. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Where the Beauty Ends, which shows, blatantly, how much Deadstar Assembly has evolved as a singer. Precious Nothing is a strong cut, one of many. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit.
