Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Velvet on ‘Dovevo Dirti Molte Cose’. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Velvet energies, virtually a rebirth. Since Velvet last CD (10 Motivi) on Blue Note Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. 10 Motivi constantly brilliant.
Luciano Ti Odio on 10 Motivi is solid and easy to listen to. Velvet is hitting on all cylinders in Miele. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Un Altro Brutto Giorno is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Miss America has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Il Mondo E Fuori. Nice and different song. Non E Sempre Un Gioco is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Velvet released so far. I Tuoi Guai (E Ne Hai) motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. I like the idea behind Confessione….
