Since Tuxedomoon last CD (Bardo Hotel) on ForeFront Records back in 2006, I have felt a massive void in my life. It has been twelve years Tuxedomoon’ last studio CD, “Bardo Hotel” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Tuxedomoon’s debut, ‘Bardo Hotel’, does not fit easily into one genre. Such great and happy songs.
The Show Goes On : Loneliness marked the continuation of Tuxedomoon in style evolution. Effervescing In The Nether Sphere is simple, dignified and effective, Tuxedomoon refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Best song on the album, love it. What sets Flying Again apart is Tuxedomoon’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Voice of Tuxedomoon in Triptych is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. In Airport Blues you won’t find any flashy solos. Neddles Prelude is a song to enjoy for years to come. Prometheus Boud - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Tuxedomoon. Remote (Pralaya) great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Dream Flight gives good insight into the truths. You have to get essence of the More Flying’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Vulcanic, Combustible pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Lyrics of Mr. Comfort are precise and evocative. Charming song, great melody. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. If you are a Tuxedomoon fan, you will love The Show Goes On : Baron Brown. I like the idea behind The Show Goes On : Jinx. Carry On Circles is the most memorable and cool.
