After seeing Beyond Nostalgia, I had to have a good The Pinker Tones cd. While no new The Pinker Tones album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2006 tour in Africa. This disc has all of the essential The Pinker Tones classics. I Love The Million Colour Revolution from start to finish!
Gone, Go On has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets The Pinker Tones’s strong vocals come to the fore. In Pea We Nuts is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything The Pinker Tones released so far. Such hits like Karma Hunters will leave you hooked. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Heros, which shows, blatantly, how much The Pinker Tones has evolved as a singer. It’s such an underrated song. Many Years Ago gets you up and jumping. Maybe Next Saturday is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Some call Mojo Moog from The Million Colour Revolution as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Piccolissima Descarga is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track The Pinker Tones ever produced. Pink Freud is a very catchy tune. You can find feelings on this piece of art. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. You have to get essence of the Sonido Total’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. TMCR Grand Finale is a bit of a show-tune. Musically Welcome to TMCR is superior to other tracks in The Million Colour Revolution.
