This twelve-song debut EP shows the promise that Stam1na has. Since completing 2005’s ‘Ristiriita’, Stam1na fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. Lead single “Ristiriita” and “Sananen Lihasta” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Stam1na ever.
Sananen Lihasta - I just love it. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. You have to get essence of the Vaki Valta Kunta’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Erilaisen Rakkauden Todistaja is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. I was truly moved when I heard Tuomittu Syyllinen. Peto Rakasti Sinua - Check out that bassline! Koirapoika (3:49) - awsome. Kaikki Kaantyy Viela Parhain Pain is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. A unique and uplifting song.
