Self-described as Pop with lots of words, Angel comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. A Woman’s Diary: Chapter I carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Angel energies, virtually a rebirth. This is my first Angel Album and i must say i am blown away.
A Woman’s Diary is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Little Princess pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Butterfly sets the tone for the entire album. Lead You Through Fire is a great opener for A Woman’s Diary: Chapter I. Mother is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Flames Of Desire from the beginning to the end. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Angel must have run out of lyrics on the next track Little Girl. Love Of My Life is exquisite work of Angel. Funeral is simple, dignified and effective, Angel refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more.
