While no new Leo Ferre album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2005 tour in South America. fifteen years ago, Leo Ferre briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Les albatros”. Since Leo Ferre last CD (La Solitude (Rock)) on Sparrow Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is what good Rock should be.
Les albatros - I like this one. Only one song from La Solitude (Rock) named Faites amour really got me. If you are a Leo Ferre fan, you will love A mon enterrement. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Les Pop has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. The opening track Le conditionnel de variss is very much like you would expect from other albums. Dans les night is a perfect, simple song by Leo Ferre at the top of his game. Leo Ferre emotions are reflected through La The Nana.
