After seeing La Solitude, I had to have a good Leo Ferre cd. This ten-song debut EP shows the promise that Leo Ferre has. It has been two years Leo Ferre’ last studio CD, “La Solitude” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. I Love La Solitude from start to finish!
Les Albatros catches attention immediately, Ton Style is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Faites L’amour is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Such hits like A Mon Enterrement will leave you hooked. Les ‘Pop’ defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Tu Ne Dis Jamais Rien is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. The first time I listened to Dans Les ‘Night’ I was struck by its perfect sound. I believe Le Conditionnel De Variete is one of the most cool, heartfelt songs ever written.
