Since Deepest Blue last CD (Late September) on EMI Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. Since completing 2004’s ‘Be Still My Heart’, Deepest Blue fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Is It A Sin is another strong production from Deepest Blue. Give It Away is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Although Turn Out Right is very melodic it is far from sad. Shooting Star (4:15) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Late September is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. I find myself hearing bits of Deepest Blue here and there throughout my waking hours. Deepest Blue is one of artists that allow his songs like Say Goodbye to stand on their own and be heard. The sound in Spread A Little Love is really warm and Deepest Blue’s signature voice is still very much present.
