I am not a real Industrial music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Alive’ really is amazing. Lead single “Amok” and “But the wind was stronger” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Diary Of Dreams was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Diary Of Dreams and Alive together. Alive is the best essence of Diary Of Dreams.
But the wind was stronger is a song to enjoy for years to come. In Chemicals Diary Of Dreams is at his best. I have all of Diary Of Dreams’s tracks and End of flowers is probably the most his introspective effort. Giftraum - This is a very lively song. Menschfeind - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. In Methusalem the music gets its power. O brother sleep has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Diary Of Dreams’s strong vocals come to the fore. Play god - A nice song. The opening track Reign Of Chaos is very much like you would expect from other albums. Soul stripper is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Diary Of Dreams emotions are reflected through The curse. From the moment you listen to Traumtanzer you’re hooked.
