Thom Yorke has compared writing for Clan Of Xymox’s new album to that on ‘The Best of Clan of Xymox’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It has been sixteen years Clan Of Xymox’ last studio CD, “The Best of Clan of Xymox” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. I wish that “The Best of Clan of Xymox” album was instrumental.
Clan Of Xymox sings Farewell in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Back Door. In Muscoviet Mosquito Clan Of Xymox is at his best. Clan Of Xymox must have run out of lyrics on the next track Out of the Rain. . Innocent have really caught my ear and imagination. Into Extremes which is my favorite is a truly Clan Of Xymox sounding song. In This World the music gets its power. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. This song is dynamic and dramatic. This is probably my favorite song on the album. I Want You Know is really the reason why I recommend buying The Best of Clan of Xymox. The song feels complete. There’s No Tomorrow is simple, dignified and effective, Clan Of Xymox refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more.
