Self-described as Jazz with lots of words, Brian Culbertson comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This is the first studio album from Brian Culbertson since bad diagnosis in 2005. After seeing Let’s Get Started, I had to have a good Brian Culbertson cd. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Hookin’ Up is probably one of Brian Culbertson’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. It’s On Tonight is just simply stunning. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. The Way You Feel is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in It’s On Tonight. Wear It Out good vocals. I like the agression and power of Secret Affair. Touch Me is nothing but pure genius. Love Will Never Let You Down is a very catchy tune. Reflections is one of my favorite songs by Brian Culbertson.
