seven years ago, Arena briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Smoke And Mirrors”. There is no doubt that Arena has talent. Pepper’s Ghost is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Arena is one of my favourite bands of all time.
First time I heard Smoke And Mirrors was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.The Shattered Room is really the reason why I recommend buying Pepper’s Ghost. The Eyes Of Lara Moon on Pepper’s Ghost is solid and easy to listen to. Tantalus is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Purgatory Road is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Opera Fanatica is a marvelous song and it grows on you.
