Sick Of It All was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Sick Of It All and Death To Tyrants together. Self-described as Hardcore with lots of words, Sick Of It All comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Death To Tyrants isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Take The Night Off and Machete is really good.
I think Machete is the best song Sick Of It All has ever done. Preamble presents the astounding mix of instruments on Death To Tyrants. Album opener Uprising Nation is a bright, upbeat ditty. All of songs on Death To Tyrants and have something to say letting alone Always War. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Some of the arrangements found on Death To Tyrants are surprisingly edgy. I like the idea behind Leader. Make A Mark - A catchy, upbeat tune. Forked Tongue actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Sick Of It All’s face. Sodom (2:06) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Faithless is a exquisite sing-along. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Fred Army, which shows, blatantly, how much Sick Of It All has evolved as a singer. Thin Skin - I just love it. Maria White Trash the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe.
