Now signed to K2’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Wrzazg” leads K2’s back-to-school campaign. Since completing 2004’s ‘Poczumczum’, K2 fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Jim Jones has compared writing for K2’s new album to that on ‘Wrzazg’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This is my first K2 Album and i must say i am blown away.
Izm is simple, dignified and effective, K2 refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. This track is a great song that still never gets old. I can’t stop playing Wij. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Ygd, which shows, blatantly, how much K2 has evolved as a singer. A great put together song. On is almost impossible to review. Pertoperz presents the marvelous mix of instruments on Wrzazg. Zaraz marked the continuation of K2 in style evolution. The song Undra ending is my favorite… so catchy! Ja is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Jatrzel is possibly the best song K2 has come up. In Zgroza the music gets its power.
