Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Deuter on ‘Silent Bay’. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Deuter. ‘Sea and Silence’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Sea and Silence because the melody in the chorus is so good. The first time I listened to Reflection 1 I was struck by its gorgeous sound. Although Seven Sacred Pools is very melodic it is far from sad. In Coral Gardens Deuter spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Reflection 2 is almost impossible to review. Empty Shore have really caught my ear and imagination.
