Lead single “Fate Prisoner” and “Strange” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. There is so much to love about Darkwell, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Jim Jones has compared writing for Darkwell’s new album to that on ‘Melatron’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. If I may, I suggest “Fate Prisoner”. That one song is amazing!
Overall a nice softer song. Metatron is a astounding, simple song by Darkwell at the top of his game. Music in Crown Of Thorn is amazing as in all tracks of Melatron. The Machine - To me, this is the best song on the Melatron. Hope Unborn has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Far Cry is really the reason why I recommend buying Melatron. Vocals of Darkwell in Last Chance really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm.
