On Gospel 1 album, Chrno Crusade have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. one years ago, Chrno Crusade briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Tragic Memory”. Now signed to Chrno Crusade’s Capitol Records, the title track from second album “Gospel 1″ leads Chrno Crusade’s back-to-school campaign. Gospel 1 is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
|titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. The Holy Prayer is almost impossible to review. The Freezing Cold Smile gets you up and jumping. The Fight between Light and Darkness (2:07) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. The Dreamt Boy, Joshua is outstanding work of Chrno Crusade. This song may be the most meaningful. I’ve found myself listening to Rosette’s Show Time back to back and back many times. In Prologue you won’t find any flashy solos. Premonition - Confrontation - another great track from the Gospel 1 album. I find myself hearing bits of Pact here and there throughout my waking hours. Monster’s Appearance - A strong beat. Still going through Gospel 1 and coming to appreciate Misunderstood Heart more and more with every listen. Once Militia Depart gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Meet was the first single release from the album Gospel 1. Hymn is just simply stunning. High Tension Rosette - I just love it. Exorcist’s Theme - To me, this is the best song on the Gospel 1. Chrno Crusade offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. The sound of Don’t Mess Up, Rosette! is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Chrno’s Gentleness stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Bond is one of my favorite songs by Chrno Crusade. Chrno Set in Motion - Fly is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Azmaria’s Loneliness I just LOVE this mix! Adorable Azmaria can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Chrno Crusade is all about. Voice of Chrno Crusade in Astral Line is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant.
