On Get Up and Kill album, Phobia have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. twelve years ago, Phobia briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Insults Of Defeat”. It’s natural for Phobia to take a stab at ‘Set To Rage’ considering her long-professed love for KLF. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Insults Of Defeat hits the heart. Extremity Of The Will is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Phobia ever produced. Get Up and Kill - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Healing Of The Wounds is possibly the best song Phobia has come up. Time Will Seize is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Revolutionary’s Hell is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. The Stench make listening to Phobia like being in some sort of time warp. His War, Not To An End is the excellent blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Violence and Greed is a striking and quite long song. Mental Insurrection is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Get Up and Kill. I like the idea behind Vicious Social Order (Live). I find myself hearing bits of Beer Brake (Live) here and there throughout my waking hours. If you are a Phobia fan, you will love Reconstruct (Live). Voice and instruments in Bush (Live) complement each other. I listened to the opening track Ailing Addiction (Live) and liked it a lot.
