This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Play Me In Stereo one is one of the better boring ones. Don’t judge Palace Station on the first listening. Let’s Kill The Clockwork is excellent song though, very addictive. My Soft Return is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Music Machine have ended. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Electric as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Colours is the albums biggest surprise. I was truly moved when I heard Angeleyes. I’ve found myself listening to Golden Day back to back and back many times.
