thirteen years ago, Elvenking briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Swallowtail”. This is the first studio album from Elvenking since bad diagnosis in 2006. Elvenking had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This is my first Elvenking Album and i must say i am blown away.
Elvenking offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. The Winter Wake - This one is lively and fun. Elvenking has astounded me with this amazing track. March Of Fools is the most memorable and marvelous. On The Morning Dew - another great track from the The Winter Wake-European Retail album. The sound in Devil’s Carriage is really warm and Elvenking’s signature voice is still very much present. Rats Are Following is one of the coolest songs Elvenking has ever recorded. Rouse Your Dream had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Neverending Nights - A nice song. In Disillusion’s Reel it becomes nowhere more obvious that Elvenking has yet to define own style. Penny Dreadful (Bonus Track) I just LOVE this mix!
