I am not a real Ethnic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Satellite’ really is amazing. This -song debut EP shows the promise that David Hallyday has. This album has some very good songs like Song Of The Astronaut (Satellite - English Version)(Bonus Track) and On & On (Le Defi - English Version)(Bonus Track). Satellite is the best essence of David Hallyday.
On & On (Le Defi - English Version)(Bonus Track) is a astounding, simple song by David Hallyday at the top of his game. J’ai Deserte Pour Un Ange is really the reason why I recommend buying Satellite. Don’t judge My Sharona on the first listening. Pardonnez-Moi is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. This track is clearly meant to showcase David Hallyday’s vocal abilities. Nous is a bit different from David Hallyday stereotypical stuff. I came to like Toi. On Ne Recolte Que Ce Qu’on Seme (4:44) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! J’aime En Toi is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Cote Sombre is another favourite of mine. Satellite is the most memorable and exquisite. After about the third Fleur Cannibale listen through, I began to believe this song is David Hallyday’s essence. Plus Me Passer De Toi is perfect. This is one hell of a track. I’ve found myself listening to Comment Faire back to back and back many times. Pardonnez-Moi) / Live (Londres)(Bonus Track) - A classic David Hallyday track.
