It’s natural for The Residents to take a stab at ‘Bad Day on the Midway’ considering her long-professed love for Godless Cruelty. I am not a real Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Have a Bad Day’ really is amazing. After seeing Bad Day on the Midway, I had to have a good The Residents cd. Another great offering from The Residents.
Dagmar, The Dog Woman is a good listen every once in a while. I Ain’t Seen No Rats is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Tears of the Taxman - Check out that bassline! God’s Teardrops (5:14) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Seven Tattoos is outstanding work of The Residents. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Lottie the Human Log - I like this one. Ugly Liberation rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Daddy’s Poems great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool. The Residents is one of artists that allow his songs like Red Head of Death to stand on their own and be heard. Timmy is a very catchy tune.
