I am not a real Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Not Available’ really is amazing. Lead single “Edweena” and “Making of a Soul” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After debuting at No. 1 last week, The Residents’s album Not Available falls to No. 2 with 674,000, a sales slide of 88%. The Residents is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Making of a Soul which is my favorite is a truly The Residents sounding song. The opening track Ship’s A’going Down is very much like you would expect from other albums. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Overall a nice softer song.
