It has been eight years Lemongrass’ last studio CD, “Ikebana” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. Now signed to Lemongrass’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Ikebana” leads Lemongrass’s back-to-school campaign. This album is a scorcher!
It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Rendez-Vous to me is the best you can get from Lemongrass. A fantastic track full of wonder. Natsu-No-Hi is one of these floating songs. Lemongrass allows each song to breathe and flourish. Stretch My Arms is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Lemongrass offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Revolving Door is beautiful, yet underrated track. This song may be the most meaningful. Farewell is a bit of a show-tune. Only one song from Ikebana named Ajisai (Hydrangea) really got me. Anohito (He) - A strong beat. Lemongrass sings his heart out in Hunwari. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer.
