This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by La Oreja de Van Gogh. There is so much to love about La Oreja de Van Gogh, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. After seeing Alguna de Mis Noches, I had to have a good La Oreja de Van Gogh cd. One of La Oreja de Van Gogh’s best albums yet.
Muneca de Trapo (The Rag Doll) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Within the first few notes of Dulce Locura it’s perfectly clear that La Oreja de Van Gogh is living this song. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. This is probably my favorite song on the album. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Guapa. Irreversible is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Diez Centimetros de Ti is one of these floating songs. V.S.O. is perfect. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Manhattan is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. I think Mi Vida Sin Ti is the best song La Oreja de Van Gogh has ever done. Cuantos Cuentos Cuento is beautiful, yet underrated track.
